PONDUS 115 Will be suited by the Course and Distance, good run last time in a handicap with a big weight. Steps back into Group class here but has fitness on his side.

AMHRAN NA BHFIANN 113 Third here in last year’s Derby but hasn’t got to that level since. Didn’t stay in the Ascot Gold Cup, but was beaten a long way out. Vibes from the stable are not too positive so probably best watched here.

SUNCHART 110 The Irish St Leger is the long term plan for him. He’s only had the one career win but generally gives his running. The trip is ideal but easier ground would be his best hope. Could pick up a place.
