Unforgotten is expected to compete in the SBK Lincoln Handicap at Doncaster after making a promising comeback following a nearly two-year absence from racing. He secured his first win at the third attempt in a seven-furlong novice race at Newcastle, but was unfortunately sidelined due to an injury and did not race as a four-year-old. The son of Exceed And Excel returned to racing at Lingfield earlier this month, winning over a mile in his first attempt at the distance. He then secured another victory over the same course and distance in the Spreadex Sports 2nd To Rag Insurance Handicap. Trained by John and Thady Gosden and ridden by Robert Havlin, Unforgotten was three-wide on the final bend and held off pressure from Brunel Charm to win by three-quarters of a length, suggesting that he has much to offer.
