Last time out (1st run in the UK) In Excelsis Deo was hindered in fourth place at the start of the race but managed to make progress and caught up with the leaders by the sixth fence. Looking like the winner by the second to last obstacle (usually third to last), he took the lead and held it until the last fence (usually second to last), where he secured a clear advantage over the others. He then galloped comfortably to the finish and won easily. It’s should be noted that the fence in the straight was omitted on both circuits.

After winning a hurdle race in France in January, this horse appears to be a promising prospect for his new owners as he transitions to chasing. He returned to competition and easily overcame a rating of 127 without much effort, displaying smooth jumping skills. This performance suggests that he has the potential to achieve even greater success, and he is definitely a horse worth following.
