Last time out Sir Argus (started 4/11 fav) quickly caught up with the leader and took over the lead before the second obstacle, although he made a mistake and briefly lost the lead. He also made a mistake at the fourth last obstacle but managed to regain control and pulled away, ridden confidently before the final obstacle. However, he made a mistake at the last jump, and in the final 100 yards, was overtaken by his stablemate Haxo and finished 2nd.

Up in trip here and must have good chance if his jumping has improved.
