- Galop De Chasse: Showed determination in his win at Hereford and should be respected, despite being close to a career-high mark. Estimated fair odds: 4/1
- Molineaux: Well handicapped based on his best form, but questions remain about his fitness and suitability for this trip. Estimated fair odds: 10/1
- Rose Sea Has: Inconsistent, but has shown potential in recent runs. If he can bounce back from his latest disappointment, he’s not out of contention. Estimated fair odds: 6/1
- Texard: Struggling recently, and might need a boost from the cheekpieces. Estimated fair odds: 15/1
- Thelasthighking: A fairly encouraging run at Stratford, but it seems like a longer distance might suit him better. Estimated fair odds: 12/1
