Afternoon Tea (5/2) A promising effort in a similar race at Lingfield (1m2f) with the first-time tongue-tie on. This trip should suit better and is one of the likelier winners in the field.
Artemis Sky (14/1) Has regressed since joining a new yard and showed little in recent runs. Difficult to recommend based on recent performances.
Mummy’s Boy (16/1) Regressive form and didn’t achieve much in previous tries over 1m4f. Has something to prove for the yard also responsible for The Charmer.
Nachos Cheese (12/1) Exposed maiden who underwent wind surgery. Needs cheekpieces to make a significant difference in performance.
Persian Wolf (4/1) A consistent performer who acts well at this course and distance. Likely to be in the mix and should go close in this 0-50 level.
Savoy Brown (3/1) Dual 1m4f Polytrack winner, including a C&D victory. Comes off a strong performance last time out and is a leading contender.
The Charmer (25/1) Has lost form in recent times and needs to settle better in this longer trip. The tongue-tie returns but a significant improvement is needed.
Ummsuquaim (20/1) A surprise C&D winner in November, but hasn’t shown much since. Back from a break and others look more appealing.
Top 3 Picks:
- Savoy Brown (3/1)
- Afternoon Tea (5/2)
- Persian Wolf (4/1)
