In this race, the clear standout contender is Woolhampton. She has shown consistent form as a juvenile, finishing second in the Super Sprint and being placed in Listed company. Her recent form has been backed up by subsequent performances of the horses she competed against, and she has been found a relatively weak race for her seasonal return. This is undoubtedly an excellent opportunity for her to secure a victory.

Copper Bay and Pearly Star are two other runners worth considering. Copper Bay demonstrated an improved form when finishing second in a race at Chelmsford last month and could pose a threat if she takes another step forward. Pearly Star is an interesting newcomer, being an 18,000 gns yearling and a half-sister to 7f AW winner Shorts On. Her pedigree suggests she could have potential, and she is debuting in an uncompetitive race.

Dercol has shown some ability in two C&D runs this month and could improve further, but his progress may be better suited to handicaps. Both Loco Lobo and Majestic Charm have displayed only modest form in their previous outings, with Loco Lobo more suited to low-grade handicaps and Majestic Charm unlikely to be a contender even with the addition of a tongue-tie.

In conclusion, Woolhampton is the strong favourite in this race, and it is difficult to see her being beaten. Copper Bay and Pearly Star could be the ones to watch as potential threats, while the rest of the field seems unlikely to pose a significant challenge.
