In this race, several horses stand out as potential contenders. Another Angel has shown recent form, winning at Southwell last month and putting in a solid performance at Newcastle. Despite being 0-15 over 6f+, the horse has previously run well over this course and distance and cannot be discounted.

Axel Jacklin is a horse with potential, having performed better than his current level in the past. However, his recent form has been unconvincing, and the betting market is often a good indicator of his chances.

Beleaguerment has shown good form on the all-weather, winning five of his six races on this surface. With his stable debut imminent, it would not be surprising to see him involved in the finish.

Billian has only one win in 29 starts but has been consistently close, finishing second in his last three runs. With Kevin Stott taking over from a 7lb claimer, Billian looks more appealing than many in this race.

Embla has shown decent form this winter, winning two races and should continue to be competitive for her in-form yard.

On the other hand, Elf Rising, Lancashire Life, and Musaytir have been inconsistent recently and carry question marks in this race.

Savalas has had a few sparks this winter but faces a wide draw and is less appealing than other runners. Too Funky has shown modest form so far, but with cheekpieces applied for the first time and Oisin Murphy booked, an improved performance is possible.

In summary, this race seems to be competitive with a few horses holding solid chances. Billian, Beleaguerment, and Embla look to be the strongest contenders, while Another Angel and Too Funky could also be in the mix. As always, the betting market may provide further clues closer to the race time.
