- Vitralite – Although he has not won in his last 12 runs, he returns to Britain off a lowly mark and this is a weak race. He looked very promising as a 3-year-old and could potentially bounce back here.
- Brazen Arrow – He has finished second three times since November, two of those efforts coming over C&D. Although he has a poor strike-rate, he should run his race and be in the mix for a place.
- Okeanos – He finished fifth in his first handicap at Wolverhampton 19 days ago, but he has the potential to do better and is not out of this. With the tongue-tie on for the first time and making his polytrack debut, he could surprise and grab a place.

- Medrara – He won over C&D last time out and appears to have benefited from the application of a tongue-tie. With a slight 4lb rise, he remains a big player and could be tough to beat.
- Villalobos – He made a successful debut for this yard last month at Lingfield and has a C&D win under his belt. Although he faces a 5lb higher mark in a better race, he needs considering as he could continue to improve.
- Persian Wolf – He has a C&D win and a creditable second of 7 in a minor event at Lingfield just five days ago. With that recent form, he could be in the mix again and may be worth a place bet.

- Prenup – She narrowly made a successful debut for this yard after 158 days off at Wolverhampton last month and shaped as though she would appreciate stepping back up in trip. With the runner-up having won since then, she is much respected and worth considering.
- Crownthorpe – He won with returning cheekpieces at Newcastle last month and has run well on Polytrack before. With just a 2lb higher mark, he should remain competitive and could be a threat.
- Sharvara – He was a very good second of six in a handicap at Wolverhampton last month and may have won with a clearer run. With the return to this trip on Polytrack, he could be suited and is likely to go well.

- Iconic Moment – This unbeaten colt has won both of his starts on the AW and looked impressive when winning a Listed race over 7f last time out. The step up to a mile should suit and there is likely more improvement to come.
- Alzahir – A useful gelding who has been running well in similar races to this, including a narrow second to Brave Emperor last time out. He has a good chance of going one better here.
- Bold Act – This lightly raced colt won his last three starts impressively and returns from a break, but there could be more to come from him this year. He is worth considering at a decent price.

- Shalaa Asker – He has won three 6f handicaps this winter and has run well in his recent starts. He ran a good second at Wolverhampton last week and there is no obvious reason why he wouldn’t make another bold bid.
- Beyond Equal – He had a good third in a handicap at Kempton in October and can go well fresh after a five-month break. He has dropped in the weights and could be an interesting contender.
- Em Jay Kay – He won a 5f maiden at Wolverhampton in December and has followed it up with three good handicap runs, including a Class 6 win at Southwell in February. He is 9lb better off with Shalaa Asker today, who beat him in his last start, and could improve further.

- Warminster – he has shown promise in his three career starts so far and comes into this race off a creditable third in a handicap at Kempton last month. He may have more to offer and is worth considering at a decent price.
- Pending Appeal – she won well at Nottingham last year and ran a good race on her seasonal debut at Kempton last month, finishing fourth. She should come on for that run and could be in the mix here.
- Ignac Lamar – he won a handicap at Southwell earlier this year and has run solid races in his last two starts. He drops back in class for this race and could be a contender if things go his way.

- Heath Rise – He has won twice over the C&D in 2021 and has been running consistently well since his return from a 15-month absence, finishing second on his last two starts. He is expected to be a major player in this weak field.
- Smokey Malone – Although he was below form on his last start, he has won twice on the Polytrack before and ran respectably on both starts this year. With the handicapper giving him a chance, he could get back on track here.
- Testing Faith – He is still a maiden but has shown improvement in his recent starts, posting his best handicap effort when finishing second at Wolverhampton over 1m4f last time. With another step up in trip, he could be a factor in this race.
