Tallulah Myla was very impressive when making all to win on her handicap debut at Chelmsford over 6f just four days ago. Despite being penalised for that win, she looks to be the one to beat here and should take all the beating. Senor Pockets has some decent form from last year and can run well off his current mark, while Missing You was running on well over 5f on his handicap debut and should appreciate the step up to 6f. Other contenders include Albert Cee, who was a creditable fourth on his last start in November and Full Prime, who ran well over C&D last time out.

Kodias Sangarius has won twice over 6f on the AW for Richard Hannon and returns to the track after a break and a yard switch. On a handy mark, he could be a threat if he runs up to his best form. Sharron Macready has run some good races this winter and is edging down the weights, making her not a forlorn hope. Come On Girl is a previous C&D winner who ran well at Lingfield just two days ago and is unlikely to be far away once more.
Of the other runners, Forever Dreaming won at Southwell in February but was less convincing over C&D last time out, needing to find a career-best to be competitive in this race. Dancing Empress makes her stable/handicap debut over 6f after a break and could show some improvement, while Runner Bean has shown little in her two runs this year and is difficult to fancy. Lady Holly is returning from a year off and has yet to prove herself, while Company Minx has been out of form this winter and is out of the weights.
Based on the above, my top 3 picks for this race would be Kodias Sangarius, Sharron Macready, and Come On Girl, with Kodias Sangarius being the most likely winner if he is fit and ready to run up to his best form.

This is a competitive race with some promising fillies on show. Here is my assessment of the runners:
- Charlotte Square – Well beaten on debut and needs a transformation to be competitive here. The addition of a hood is interesting, but there are better options in this field.
- Cloud Angel – Closely related to winners and hails from a top stable. Showed little on debut but has room for improvement. Not a confident selection, but could be in the mix.
- Crack Of Light – Won on debut at Wolverhampton in February, showing a good turn of foot to score over a similar distance to this race. Her pedigree suggests she will relish the extra yardage and she looks a leading contender.
- Page Three – Has an interesting pedigree and represents a top yard. Her debut is belated but she is one to watch in the betting.
- Polar Princess – Hails from a leading stable and has a pedigree that suggests she will appreciate this trip. With several winners in her family, she could be a good each-way selection on debut.
- Rhythm Dancer – Well beaten on debut and needs significant improvement to be competitive.
- Sapphire Seas – Has shown promise in both starts to date, winning at Wolverhampton last time out. The step up in trip should suit and she looks the one to beat.
Based on this analysis, my top 3 selections for this race are:
- Sapphire Seas
- Crack Of Light
- Polar Princess
Sapphire Seas has been improving with each start and looks a good bet to continue that trend here. Crack Of Light is another filly with a bright future and could provide stiff competition. Polar Princess is a bit of a wildcard on debut, but with a leading stable and an interesting pedigree, she could outrun her odds.

This is a relatively weak maiden and a number of these horses have not yet shown much on the track. Here are my top 3 selections:
- Jeff Koons – This Frankel colt is a notable newcomer and comes from a top stable. His dam was a Grade 2 turf winner in the US and is from a strong family. Jeff Koons should be well-prepared for his debut and is likely to be a major player in this field.
- Island Star – This filly showed promise in both of her runs for Marcus Tregoning last autumn, with both races run on ground slower than good. She’s now starting out for Roger Varian and it will be interesting to see how she goes. With her previous form, Island Star has the potential to improve and challenge for the win.
- Covert Legend – This well-bred Zoustar gelding is a half-brother to five winners, including the Group placed Term Of Endearment. His dam was a Listed winner and the family has produced some high-class performers. Covert Legend is an appealing prospect on paper and it will be worth monitoring the betting for any significant support.
Overall, Jeff Koons is the one to beat on his debut and should take some beating. Island Star and Covert Legend both have potential to improve and could challenge for the minor placings.

Abu Royal has an appealing pedigree and represents a leading yard, making him a strong contender for this race. Lose Your Wad showed clear promise on debut and should have more to offer, making him another top contender. Prosper Legend also has an interesting pedigree and represents a powerful yard, so he should be closely watched in the betting.
Cracksking has a pedigree that suggests he should do well in the future, but newcomers from his stable often need a run, so he may need more experience. Musterion has not shown much in her first two starts and is hard to recommend, while Manila Mist needs to show improvement after a disappointing debut.
Tables Turned has been encouraging in his two runs this year, but he will need to take a big step forward to win this race. Royal Cape ran a promising race on debut and could be more competitive after gaining experience. Silence Is Golden has not shown much in her two runs and will need to improve dropping in trip.
Overall, Abu Royal, Lose Your Wad, and Prosper Legend are the top picks in this race.

He’s A Monster (IRE) Showed plenty of promise on his debut at Chelmsford over 7f and won comfortably at Wolverhampton last time out, producing the fastest sectional times for the final three furlongs. Up 7lb but could still have more to offer.
Jahidin (FR) Improved on his debut run when winning a 7f maiden at Newcastle in February and ran well under a penalty at Wolverhampton last time out, finishing second to a promising filly. Still capable of better and has scope to improve further in handicaps.
Monopolise Took a big step forward when winning a pair of nurseries over 7f and 1m in the autumn. Has to carry another 3lb rise and is dropping back to 7f, but is respected in his hat-trick bid.
Seductive Power (IRE) Won a 6f novice last summer and ran well on his all-weather debut when finishing second in a 1m handicap at Chelmsford three weeks ago. Has scope and could continue to give a good account, especially with the addition of a tongue strap.
Based on past performance and current form, my top three picks would be He’s A Monster, Jahidin, and Seductive Power. He’s A Monster has shown plenty of promise in his few starts and could have more to offer, while Jahidin and Seductive Power have both run well recently and have scope to improve. Monopolise is also respected but may find the competition tougher with the drop back to 7f and higher weight.

All The King’s Men is a promising type who won impressively on his UK debut and, while he carries 8lb more now, it’s unlikely to stop him from being competitive. Kingdom Come is another promising type who won his last two starts in good style and could still have more to offer. Rainbow Fire has the potential to be a player here as well, being a former Gosden inmate who won on his first start for his new connections and retains ability. Street Kid has been a useful handicapper on the AW and ran well to finish second last time out, but may need to improve to beat some of the other contenders in this field. Evocative Spark is making his first start for his new yard after being gelded and coming off a long layoff, so it’s hard to know what to expect from him. American Star is also hard to make a case for based on recent form.
Overall, my top three selections would be All The King’s Men, Kingdom Come, and Rainbow Fire, as they have shown good form and potential for improvement.

Donald Llewellyn is a course and distance winner and has run well over shorter distances. He comes into this race off the back of a creditable second-place finish at Wolverhampton last time out, and with a step up in trip, he could be in the mix.
Global Wonder is another course and distance winner who won well at Chelmsford in February. He has been shaping well in defeat in his last two starts and could be a player in this race.
All About Alice is an improving type who ran a career-best race when second at Lingfield last week after meeting traffic. She is on a workable mark and is not to be underestimated.
Overall, Donald Llewellyn, Global Wonder, and All About Alice are the top three horses in this race. While others such as Cinzento and Nachos Cheese cannot be completely dismissed, these three horses have shown good form recently and have a good chance of winning.
