- Scottie Scheffler: As the defending Masters champion, Scheffler has been in excellent form with multiple PGA Tour wins in the past 14 months. His experience and recent success make him a strong contender for another win at Augusta National. However, repeating as a Masters champion is a rare feat, so Scheffler will need to maintain his focus and consistency throughout the tournament.
- Jon Rahm: Rahm has demonstrated exceptional play, with five worldwide victories since November. With four top-10 finishes in six starts at Augusta National, he has a solid foundation to build on. Though he has cooled off slightly this season, his well-rounded game makes him a top contender for the Masters title.
- Rory McIlroy: McIlroy is pursuing the career grand slam, and with recent changes to his driver and putter, his game appears to be improving. A strong showing during a practice round at Augusta indicates that he may be ready to finally claim the elusive Masters title. McIlroy will need to maintain his composure and consistency under pressure to achieve this milestone.
- Collin Morikawa: As a two-time major winner, Morikawa has proven his ability to perform at the highest level. His ball-striking is among the best in the world, but his putting remains a concern. After finishing solo fifth at the Masters last year, Morikawa will need to improve his putting to emerge victorious at Augusta.
- Xander Schauffele: Schauffele has come close to winning a major at the Masters before, with top finishes in 2019 and 2021. He has the skill set to make a back-nine charge on Sunday, but he’ll need to improve his accuracy off the tee to increase his chances of claiming the green jacket.
