Going Good
In this NAF Challenger Series Mares Hurdle at Cheltenham, there are 17 runners competing over a distance of 2m4½f on good ground. The top four rated horses based on the provided data are Windtothelightning, Dollar Bae, Lone Star, and Presenting A Queen.
Windtothelightning has the highest total points with a score of 459.1 and is the current favorite at 6/1 odds. She has won three of her four hurdle races, including the last two over 2m4f on good ground. Her last race rating is 98.5, and she has a high speed rating of 203.3. Her jockey and trainer ratings are also relatively high at 68.8 and 68.3, respectively.
Dollar Bae has the second-highest total points with a score of 418.5 and is currently at 13/2 odds. She has won three of her four handicaps, including a clear-cut success at Chepstow (2m3f, soft) last month. Her last race rating is 110.6, and she has a speed rating of 197.5. Her jockey and trainer ratings are also relatively high at 58.0 and 47.6, respectively.
Lone Star has the third-highest total points with a score of 412.6 and is currently at 8/1 odds. She has won five times since the winter, most recently when readily drawing 9l clear in series final at Musselburgh (2m4f, good to soft) last month. Her last race rating is 122.3, and she has a speed rating of 224.0. Her jockey and trainer ratings are 59.2 and 32.8, respectively.
Presenting A Queen is the fourth-highest rated horse with a score of 408.7 and is currently at 10/1 odds. She kept on for a very respectable second behind Windtothelightning on handicap debut at Market Rasen (2m4f, good) in February. Her last race rating is 77.1, and she has a speed rating of 162.0. Her jockey and trainer ratings are 77.6 and 66.0, respectively.
It is worth noting that some of the lower-rated horses have good form, and the comments highlight potential factors that could impact the race. For example, Could Be Trouble is a four-time winner over hurdles but has not found form this year, while Malaita has only recently opened her hurdling account and faces a much tougher field.
In summary, based on the provided data, the top four rated horses are Windtothelightning, Dollar Bae, Lone Star, and Presenting A Queen, with Windtothelightning being the favorite. However, it is important to consider other factors such as recent form and suitability for today’s conditions.

Looking at the provided horse racing data, Tweed Skirt has the highest total points at 419.5, followed closely by Voice of Calm with 397.1 and La Renommee with 392.8. These three horses are the top-rated contenders according to the data.
Tweed Skirt started her chasing career with two wins in late 2022 and was third in a Huntingdon Listed race in January. She was outpaced in a Grade 2 race at Kempton in February but has shown promise overall. Voice of Calm has placed in two of her first three chases and won a match race two weeks ago. She is still relatively well handicapped and suited by today’s trip-and-ground combination. La Renommee has been in good form over fences, winning twice over 2m4f at Ludlow recently, and was runner-up in a valuable juvenile hurdle on this card a year ago.
Fairfield Ferrata is another horse to consider, having won easily by 13 lengths at Uttoxeter in January and now being 2-4 over fences. She is higher in the weights in a deeper race here but should handle the faster ground.
La Domaniale is a horse to watch out for, having won three times on good ground earlier this season and losing narrowly in a valuable Market Rasen handicap. She can do better now back on a sound surface and with a recent outing under her belt.
Miah Grace won a small-field chase at Newcastle in December and won a hurdle race in first-time visors on heavy ground recently. If the headgear continues to help, she could be a contender, but she may be more suited to slower ground.
Effernock Fizz is versatile and won the Welsh Champion Hurdle and a novice chase at Ludlow in the autumn. She was below form over hurdles recently, however, and looks vulnerable under top weight.
Wynn House has yet to convince as a chaser but may be better suited by the faster ground today, having won four times over hurdles previously.
Overall, the top-rated horses according to the data are Tweed Skirt, Voice of Calm, and La Renommee, with Fairfield Ferrata and La Domaniale also worth considering. It is important to take into account the suitability of each horse for today’s conditions, their recent form, and any other factors that may impact their performance.

CATESBY ESTATES MARES’ NOVICES’ HURDLE (Listed) (1)

Going Good
The top four rated horses in this Catesby Estates Mares Novices Hurdle are Deeply Superficial, Ilovethenightlife, Queens Rock, and Lutinebella.
Deeply Superficial has performed well in 2m4f Grade 2 races and has form on all ground, making her a strong contender. Ilovethenightlife has won her last two races, including a Newbury handicap over 2m4f on good ground, but faces tougher competition here. Queens Rock won a Class 4 handicap after wind surgery and has been preferred by jockey Nico De Boinville over other runners. Lutinebella is a Grade 2 bumper place-getter and has won two of her four starts over hurdles, most recently at Plumpton.
Ahorsewithnoname is a runner-up in a Grade 2 but has not won over hurdles and reportedly bled on her reappearance, which could make her a risky bet. I Spy A Diva has won two novices and a handicap earlier in the season, but has had a few below-par runs on soft ground. Lilting Verse won a Listed event at Huntingdon in December but that form has not held up well, making her a risky bet.
Spring Note won a Warwick bumper and a small-field handicap at Newbury over 2m3f on good ground, but has something to find on the figures with the top-rated horses and jockey Nico De Boinville has chosen to ride Queens Rock instead. Zestful has won two clearcut races with a hood on, and could be dangerous to dismiss, especially with her proven staying ability on the Flat.
Overall, Deeply Superficial looks like the strongest contender, with Lutinebella and Queens Rock also in the mix. Ilovethenightlife and Zestful are not to be overlooked, while Ahorsewithnoname, I Spy A Diva, Lilting Verse, and Spring Note may need to improve to challenge for the win.

In the Sporting Agenda Challenger Series Mares Chase Final Handicap Chase at Cheltenham, Rose of Arcadia, Credo, Lady Kk, and Gazette Bourgeoise are the top-rated horses based on their total points. Rose of Arcadia is the favourite at 3/1 and impressed when winning by a wide margin on heavy ground last time out. Lady Kk has potential after winning at Taunton with the application of cheekpieces, and though she’s unraced over this far, the 3m distance is not a concern.
Credo could be a danger if back to the form she showed when winning over 3m at Warwick earlier this year. Do You Think has been beaten by Rose Of Arcadia twice, and it seems unlikely that she can reverse the form. Emmpressive Lady has only shown flashes of ability over fences, and others are preferred.
Juniper hasn’t shown her best form since winning by a wide margin at Wetherby, while My Silver Lining has been well beaten in her recent runs. Good Look Charm is a dual hurdle winner, but is 0-5 over fences, and her last three defeats have come in races won by Juniper, Lady Kk, and Rose Of Arcadia.
While Rose of Arcadia and Lady Kk are the top-rated horses, Credo and Gazette Bourgeoise cannot be discounted, and Lady Kk’s lack of experience over this distance could be a factor.

Looking at the ratings and comments, the top four rated horses in the race are Cianciana, Obsessedwithyou, Under Control, and Arclight.
Cianciana is the top-rated horse with a total of 482.9 points and comes into the race with top weight, having earned it with consistent performances in her last few races. She finished runner-up to Bo Zenith at Haydock and then won a Musselburgh handicap on good to soft ground, suggesting that the current conditions should be suitable for her.
Obsessedwithyou is the second highest rated horse with 441.1 points and comes into the race after an easy win at Hereford. However, it’s worth noting that the race fell apart, so her form may not be as strong as it appears on paper.
Under Control is the third highest rated horse with 393.1 points and has potential in her second handicap start, having won her first two races in France and at Newbury before a disappointing performance in a Grade 2 race at this track last month. She will be looking to bounce back here, and the good ground could suit her.
Arclight is the fourth highest rated horse with 391.1 points, and despite a disappointing run in a handicap at Ascot on good to soft ground on her last start, she won her first two races over hurdles, including a Listed race. However, she has been overlooked by her regular jockey Nico De Boinville, who chooses to ride Under Control instead.
Golden Glance, who is a flat-bred horse, has shown promise in her recent hurdle performances and won comfortably at Haydock 12 days ago, so she could be a contender as a handicap debutante. Meanwhile, Pink Fire Lilly left her previous hurdling form behind to finish a close third behind Media Naranja at Limerick on soft ground, and she has an 8lb pull on the winner.
In summary, Cianciana, Obsessedwithyou, Under Control, and Arclight are the top-rated horses, with Golden Glance and Pink Fire Lilly as potential outsiders. It’s important to note that the race conditions and jockey/trainer ratings can also play a significant role in determining the outcome of the race.

In the 4.25 Cheltenham, the top-rated horse is Pink Legend, who has a total of 444 points and is the favourite with odds of 13/8. Pink Legend has been consistent and has placed in her last two Festival appearances, which were in the 2m4f Grade 2 chase for mares. She has posted a career-high RPR in this year’s race, and even though the trip is short of her best, she should take some stopping if in the same form.
Fortunes Melody is the second highest-rated horse with 357 points and odds of 9/2. She is usually consistent but didn’t perform well in her latest race at Ludlow. She has only won once over fences, and that win came on her last attempt at this sort of trip.
Hawthorn Cottage has a total of 327.1 points and is also at odds of 9/2. She has won twice this season and is a front-runner who jumps well. However, it has been a long time since she raced over this short a distance, and she may find it challenging.
Doyannie has a total of 299.5 points and is at odds of 17/2. She won at Plumpton in February but didn’t finish well in her last race there. She is out of the handicap by 12lb, which makes life difficult for her.
Royale Margaux is the fourth-highest-rated horse with 269.4 points and odds of 5/2. She is a seven-time French winner and showed a big step forward on previous British form when beaten by less than 9l in a 2m1f handicap at Ascot (good to soft) last time. She looked like a big danger until fading late on, and she may benefit from racing on good ground, which she has never raced on before.
Lost Connections is the lowest-rated horse with 226.7 points and odds of 40/1. She is a seven-race maiden who is 0-4 over fences. While she showed some promise when runner-up at Hereford, it may be too big an ask for her from a long way out of the weights.
Overall, Pink Legend is the top-rated horse and looks to have the best chance of winning. However, Royale Margaux may also be a strong contender after showing a big improvement in her last race. The comments suggest that Hawthorn Cottage is a front-runner who jumps well, but the distance may be too short for her, while Doyannie is out of the handicap by a significant margin.

Looking at the provided horse racing data, the top-rated horses are El Elefante (IRE), Flying Fortune (IRE), Dontyawantme (IRE), and Mellificent (IRE). These horses have total points of 428.8, 383.4, 380.0, and 368.8, respectively.
El Elefante (IRE) is the current favorite with odds of 3/1 and has shown promise with a second-place finish in an Irish point and a 4-length victory at Musselburgh (good to soft). However, she carries a penalty for her win and will need to overcome that.
Flying Fortune (IRE) has also shown promise with a good second-place finish at Market Rasen in a Listed race (good to soft) dominated by Aintree winner Dysart Enos. She followed that up with a win at Stratford (good to soft), beating an Irish male runner with the pair well clear.
Dontyawantme (IRE) finished third behind Blue Baloo at Newcastle on Boxing Day but then won at Huntingdon (good to soft) en route to a career-best third in a Listed race at Sandown (heavy). She has plenty of stamina in her pedigree and could show further progress.
Mellificent (IRE) is an Uttoxeter winner who wasn’t far behind Flying Fortune in the same Listed race at Market Rasen (good to soft) won by impressive Aintree scorer Dysart Enos. She could be in the mix if she runs to her best.
Other horses that the comments highlight are Blue Baloo (IRE), who has won in a big field on soft at Newcastle and finished fourth at Kelso in an informative race, and Quite The Getaway, who left debut form behind to finish second at Warwick (good) at 80-1 and could improve again.
Factors that might be overlooked by the overall rating include the suitability of the horse for today’s conditions, such as their previous performance on good ground, and the jockey and trainer ratings, which can indicate if a horse is well-supported and in good form.
