Looking at the provided data, the top-rated horse is Expecto with a total of 192.8 points, followed by Edwardian with 113.4 points and Leap Year with 87.5 points. These three horses have odds of 9/1, 5/4, and 5/2, respectively.

It is worth noting that Edwardian is closely related to Aspen Grove, a 2-year-old Group 3 winner over 1 mile with an RPR of 97. Edwardian’s dam is a US Graded stakes-placed 1 mile turf 2-year-old winner and is a half-sister to Skitter Scatter, a 7f 2-year-old Group 1 winner. Additionally, Edwardian’s sire is a top sire, and his dam comes from a high-class 2-year-old producing damline. Therefore, Edwardian commands major respect from this yard.

Expecto’s dam won at two, and she is a half-sister to a 2-year-old winner. She was beaten by 10 lengths on debut in testing ground at the Curragh, but she should have improved from that experience.

Leap Year is closely related to City Runner, a 7f AW/1 mile turf winner with an RPR of 92. Leap Year’s dam is placed over 7f AW, and she is a sister to Danehill Brook, a 5f 2-year-old winner. Like Edwardian, Leap Year is sired by a top-class sire, and he similarly commands major respect.

Son of Corballis is the first foal of an unraced half-sister to numerous winners, including Devotee (US 6.5f 2yo/1m1f UAE Oaks) and Inflection Point (5f-7f inc AW). Although he was a vendor buyback at EUR20,000 as a yearling, one of the yard’s 2-year-olds was second at Cork last week.

From the top four rated horses, Edwardian appears to be the most likely winner given his close relation to Aspen Grove and his impressive breeding. However, it is important to note that Expecto and Leap Year also have strong breeding and should not be overlooked. Son of Corballis may also have a chance based on his yard’s recent performance. Velvet Skies, the least rated horse in the field, is a first foal with a relatively unremarkable pedigree, but it is worth noting that her sire can get 2-year-old winners.

In the 4.35 Tipperary, the top-rated horse is Parting Glass, who has a total of 312.9 points and is priced at 7/2. He ran well on his only start as a two-year-old, finishing eight lengths behind an Aidan O’Brien-trained colt over this trip at the Curragh. The third horse in that race has won subsequently, and fourth-placed Jer Batt won at Southwell after his export to Britain, suggesting that Parting Glass has a decent chance in this race.

Heartrate is the second highest-rated horse, with a total of 284.7 points and priced at 9/2. He is down in trip after two attempts over 7f, with his best form coming at Dundalk, where he was beaten just over two lengths. He boasts good credentials on form over 5f/6f and holds an edge over Billboa on Dundalk form. The winner of that race, Almendares, has shown progressive form, and Heartrate is also blinkered for the first time, which could bring about improvement.

Daisy Jones is the third highest-rated horse, with a total of 255.3 points and priced at 5/2. She showed plenty of speed in her two races last year, beaten a nose in a 22-runner 6f maiden at the Curragh and close-up third of 17 over 5f at Navan. She has fair form in two 2021 starts for Kevin Prendergast on AW and holds a fighting chance against younger rivals.

Billboa is the fourth highest-rated horse, with a total of 270.1 points and priced at 17/2. He has 3l to find with Heartrate on 6f running at Dundalk, though some allowance should be made for the fact that was his debut. The main concern is that this trip looked too sharp for him when fifth in a Cork event in which Beaumadier was second.

Among the others, Cholita, who was fifth in a 6f Dundalk maiden last September, and Beaumadier, who was fourth at Naas before finishing second in a 16-runner maiden at Cork, could also come into the reckoning.

In the Tipperary Town Maiden over 1m4½f, King Leodegrance and New Variant look the main contenders. King Leodegrance has a total points score of 217.5, with odds of 7/4, and a last race rating of 52.6. However, he was well beaten on his debut over 1m2f on heavy ground, and may need to improve for better ground and blinkers. New Variant has a total points score of 194.6, odds of 11/8, and a last race rating of 66.9. He showed improved form on his seasonal debut over 1m2f at Leopardstown and is expected to relish the step up in trip.

Sleepless Knight, with a total points score of 8.8 and odds of 28/1, is half-brother to a quality horse and could run well. Albert Park, with a total points score of 66.5 and odds of 5/2, is a well-bred newcomer and the market may provide clues about his chances. Smooth Gale, with a total points score of 15.1 and odds of 33/1, doesn’t hold much appeal on debut and is best watched.

It’s worth noting that New Variant has shown signs of progress on his latest run, and with his breeding, he looks well-suited to the step up in trip. However, King Leodegrance has also shown promise, and with blinkers added, he may improve from his last run. Overall, it looks to be a competitive race between the top two rated horses.

The top-rated horses in the race are Safecracker, Newfoundland, Taipan, and Dalvey. Safecracker has consistently performed well, with most of his best form at 1m2f, but he stays this trip effectively as he showed when winning at Gowran last August and when runner-up at Leopardstown on his final start of the campaign. He is wearing a hood for the first time but has no issue with the ground. Newfoundland, a brother to Oaks winner Snowfall, is a noteworthy recruit to Joseph O’Brien’s team and has decent form, having been beaten by only a few lengths in mid-field when contesting the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot. He is gelded now and has every chance of winning. Taipan won a 1m Naas maiden on his only juvenile start, but he ran in good company at three and has fair handicap form last year, notably when seventh in a 30-runner Irish Cesarewitch. He made a respectable seasonal debut when chasing home an easy winner in a conditions race at Navan, and he has a definite chance in this grade. Dalvey is a decent horse with four wins and eight places from 25 starts at Dundalk, but he has placed only once from ten starts on turf. He was second at Dundalk in his last run and has a chance to place in this race.

Bridge Of Dawn defied a long absence to win on handicap/seasonal debut in testing ground at Navan last October, and his ability to run well when fresh is a positive factor. Burren Song was a narrow Dundalk winner last time, and the runner-up Cristal Clere has franked the form with two Leopardstown wins. However, there is a slight concern that he would prefer better ground. Chally Chute is highly effective on turf and has improved significantly with each run, winning a hat-trick last autumn, and further progress is not out of the question. Marvelosa is still a maiden after eight outings but provided some grounds for optimism with a recent fourth at Leopardstown.

Overall, Safecracker, Newfoundland, Taipan, and Dalvey seem to have the best chances of winning, but Bridge Of Dawn and Chally Chute should not be underestimated, especially on today’s conditions.

In the 6.10 Tipperary race, the top-rated horse is Villanova Queen with a total of 399.6 points, priced at 7/2. Villanova Queen ran a good race when finishing third to Homeless Songs in the 1000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown on her 3yo debut, and could be a big player if restored to her best after an absence.

The second top-rated horse is Artistic Rifles, priced at 10/1, with a total of 372.2 points. Although a nine-time winner, Artistic Rifles hasn’t been seen on track since winning a Group 3 over 1m on fast ground for Ed Bethell in September 2021, so may need the run.

The third top-rated horse is Saltonstall, priced at 7/2, with a total of 354.3 points. Saltonstall finished last season in fine form with handicap wins at Tipperary and Leopardstown, and although agonisingly denied in the Irish Lincoln on his return, he still ran well. However, he might find this trip a little sharp.

Casanova is the fourth top-rated horse with a total of 329.2 points, priced at 9/2. Casanova has been placed at Listed level and ran a stormer last time in the Irish Lincoln, just behind stablemate Saltonstall. He is a four-time winner up to 1m1f and should run another big race.

Although Indian Wish has the fifth highest total points, he is priced at 15/2 and has a very low rating compared to the others. Artistic Rifles is also unlikely to be in the mix after a long break. Emporio is an interesting runner, but needs to prove his form after a poor return in the Irish Lincoln. Monaasib is capable of smart form but has questions to answer now, while Snapraeterea needs to improve on his last year’s form.

In the 6.40 Tipperary, the top four rated horses are Secret Sauce, Notturno, Apprentice, and Timeless Piece.

Secret Sauce has the highest total points and is the favorite at 7/4. Although he failed to impress in maidens last season, he finished second in his first handicap start at Bellewstown, ahead of some horses who have performed well at Dundalk. With blinkers replacing cheekpieces, he could improve and win a race of this standard.

Notturno carries top weight but has the support of a strong trainer and jockey combination. He hinted at some potential with a mid-field run at the Curragh in his second of three maiden starts.

Apprentice has been given a useful 7lb claim by his promising apprentice jockey. However, she needs to step up on her first two handicap attempts at Dundalk to be competitive in this race.

Timeless Piece’s opening mark looks quite harsh, but she could find her level now for her in-form stable. She looked in need of further in her most recent run over 7f in a maiden race.

Among the other horses, Fuli and Real History are worth noting. Fuli has shown mild improvement in his second of three runs for his previous trainer and his stable has had a recent winner at Dundalk. Real History has been given cheekpieces for the first time after three undistinguished maiden attempts. Although his chance is not obvious, he cannot be completely ruled out given his strong connections.

Looking at the ratings, the top four horses are Bringsty, Bigz Belief, Leabaland, and Theophilos. Bringsty has the highest total points and has recently won at Leopardstown. Bigz Belief finished second at Gowran on Tuesday and is in good form. Leabaland has won three times and has previously run well on a cut in the ground, while Theophilos showed promise on his handicap debut at Leopardstown and could improve.

It is also worth noting that Anycity has previously won on an all-weather track in Britain and could improve after a creditable fifth at Navan last month, while Gemini Man is trying cheekpieces for the first time and could have each-way claims.

Factors that might be overlooked by the overall rating include recent form, suitability for today’s conditions, and the jockey and trainer ratings. The comments provide useful insights into each horse’s recent form and performance on different types of tracks. It is also important to consider the distance and going of today’s race, as well as any potential impact of the recent racing schedule on each horse’s fitness.
