1. Odd Socks Havana: Two wins over C&D this year and has run well in defeat the last twice, bumping into a rapid improver over C&D last week. Should give his running once more.
2. Biplane: Hold-up mare with suitable conditions. Not far behind Urban Road at Southwell three weeks ago and weighted to get closer, but she won’t be advantaged if this becomes tactical.
3. Martin’s Brig: Won twice over 7f at Southwell in December and has turned in a string of good efforts in defeat since. Runs off the same mark here and has placed form over C&D, but is 0-17 over 1m+.
4. Reclaim Victory: Threatening at this track prior to her 7f win at Southwell in December, coming from well off the pace to score. Never in contention at Beverley last week but the return to AW can help, and it was her first run for 117 days too; not ruled out.

Going Standard

1. Another Angel: Back in the groove this year, with wins over 5f at Southwell and 6f at Wolverhampton. Recently trounced six rivals at Newcastle over 5f; well in under a penalty and hard to beat if in the same form.
2. Rockley Point: Two wins this year, notably when beating Another Angel over C&D in March. Near miss at Wolverhampton last month, but wasn’t in top form back there last week; still one of the likelier winners.
3. Embla: Two Tapeta wins this winter, more recently a classified event at Southwell (6f) in March. Perhaps went off a shade too quickly at Wolverhampton when last seen six weeks ago; others are stronger.
4. Stallone: On a long losing run and hasn’t run badly on slow turf the last twice. However, he now drops to 5f for the first time on his 52nd racecourse appearance, making him a less certain option.
