2.05 Worcester (4 runners)
Richard Newland Racing Novices Handicap Chase (GBB Race)
2m7f

Based on the ratings provided, here’s the ranking of the runners from highest to lowest:

  1. Chief Black Robe (IRE) – 645.5
  2. Tiger Orchid (IRE) – 515.0
  3. Hardy Boy (FR) – 479.7
  4. Moon King (FR) – 370.4

Now let’s assess the comments for each runner:

  1. Chief Black Robe (IRE): 3-3 over fences this season, winning easily on each occasion. Rapid improvement and shooting up the weights. Hard to tell when the improvement will level off.
  2. Tiger Orchid (IRE): Won by 5 lengths over C&D on chasing debut. Took well to fences, and despite sometimes being a hesitant jumper of hurdles, an obvious contender after the last performance.
  3. Hardy Boy (FR): Whipped around and lost all chance at the start of a recent C&D event won by Tiger Orchid. Opened chasing account at Huntingdon two runs ago and has scope to build on that performance if behaving well. Copes with good to soft ground.
  4. Moon King (FR): Scored off a higher mark over hurdles at this track last summer. Went off the boil in the autumn and yet to hit top form this year. Something to prove on chasing debut, but rain wouldn’t be a concern.

Based on this analysis, the best pick based on ratings and comments would be Chief Black Robe. With a perfect 3-3 record over fences this season, winning by a wide margin each time, Chief Black Robe has shown rapid improvement and is difficult to oppose.

Every Race Live On Racing TV Handicap

Based on the ratings provided, here’s the ranking of the runners from highest to lowest:

  1. Walking On Clouds (IRE)
  2. Monsieur Kodi (IRE)
  3. Call Me Ginger
  4. Woven
  5. Broken Spear
  6. Manila Scouse
  7. Our Absent Friends (IRE)
  8. Royal Pippen (IRE)
  9. Black Friday

Now let’s assess the comments for each runner:

  1. Walking On Clouds (IRE): Better on the All-Weather, but won over C&D in May, ran well in a recent start, may need the surface to dry out.
  2. Monsieur Kodi (IRE): C&D winner, handled the step up in trip, looks likely to run well.
  3. Call Me Ginger: Dual C&D winner, dropped to a competitive mark, hasn’t shown winning form lately, prefers good or faster ground.
  4. Woven: Ended a long losing streak at Doncaster, couldn’t build on it in a subsequent start, may prefer softer ground.
  5. Broken Spear: Likes testing conditions, won on soft ground in May, not easy to win with, but should be considered.
  6. Manila Scouse: Consistent performer, ran well in recent starts, sole win on soft ground, may have more to offer.
  7. Our Absent Friends (IRE): AW winner, turf form limited, would need to prove himself on good ground or softer.
  8. Royal Pippen (IRE): Won over longer distances on soft ground, unproven as a sprinter, poor recent performance over 1m.
  9. Black Friday: Won this race two years ago, offered some encouragement with runner-up finishes, but recent form hasn’t improved.

Based on the analysis, the best pick would be Monsieur Kodi (IRE). He is a C&D winner, handled the step up in trip well, and is expected to run another big race.

  1. Vision Of Hope – 502.8
  2. Three Macks (IRE) – 402.5
  3. On Cloud Nine (IRE) – 359.4
  4. Energy Two – 352.6
  5. Coastal Sun (FR) – 350.4
  6. Pepsiwithacap (IRE) – 317.4
  7. My Poem – 304.2
  8. Jolie Baie (FR) – 290.4
  9. Joyful Kit (IRE) – 270.8
  10. Bella Madonna – 249.7
  11. Saddlers Quest – 235.1
  12. Citizen Jane – 174.6

Now let’s assess the comments for each runner:

  1. Vision Of Hope: Flat winner who has taken well to hurdling. Narrowly held on to win last time out. Travelled strongly and a 3lb rise should be manageable.
  2. Three Macks (IRE): 15-race maiden but showed promise on handicap debut when finishing as a runner-up over C&D. Raced prominently and a turn looks near.
  3. On Cloud Nine (IRE): Showed improvement in a 2m maiden at Bangor. Going into handicaps with a challenging mark, but expected to improve further.
  4. Energy Two: Closed to within 5 lengths of the leaders over C&D in just her second handicap start. Bit to find with the runner-up, but considered.
  5. Coastal Sun (FR): Minor 2m winner and positives from the latest Stratford run where she was 10 lengths away despite a race that didn’t go as planned. Jockey change to Gavin Sheehan.
  6. Pepsiwithacap (IRE): Started well with two good AW runs but pulled up in her return to hurdling. Brought down in the following run. Needs to bounce back.
  7. My Poem: AW/hurdle winner and came close in a good-ground Stratford handicap last seen in October. Returns off the same mark and has performed well after a similar break.
  8. Jolie Baie (FR): Third in a maiden hurdle but now going for handicaps with a first-time hood.
  9. Joyful Kit (IRE): Previously made the frame for other yards but below best for the current stable. Finished fourth at Ffos Las.
  10. Bella Madonna: Placed in a bumper but hasn’t performed well enough over hurdles to expect an immediate impact in handicaps.
  11. Saddlers Quest: Showed promise with a decent run at Taunton but hasn’t been competitive in subsequent outings.
  12. Citizen Jane: Won a point in May but modest form in rules races. No pace in the recent handicap run at Uttoxeter and uncertain about the drop back to 2m.

Based on this analysis, the best pick based on ratings and comments would be Vision Of Hope. With a strong flat background and successful transition to hurdling, Vision Of Hope narrowly held on to win last time out and is expected to handle the 3lb rise.

4.50 Worcester (12 runners)
Radio Wyvern – Where Worcester Comes First Handicap Hurdle (Div 1)

Based on the ratings provided, here’s the ranking of the runners from highest to lowest:

  1. Karavomylos (IRE) – 529.7
  2. Rubys Reward – 351.9
  3. Ya Know Yaseff (IRE) – 335.0
  4. Racing Spirit – 310.6
  5. Stripe Of Honour (IRE) – 299.0
  6. Twilight Girl (IRE) – 286.7
  7. Wildfire Warrior (IRE) – 284.6
  8. Fantomas (FR) – 275.7
  9. Classic Concorde (IRE) – 250.5
  10. Trickalight (IRE) – 241.4
  11. King Otis (IRE) – 221.9
  12. Kayf Baha – 168.3

Now let’s assess the comments for each runner:

  1. Karavomylos (IRE): Improved form in handicaps, rallying gamely to win by a neck last time out. First-time tongue-tie and won’t mind if there’s rain. Likely contender.
  2. Rubys Reward: 1-13 over hurdles but kept on well for fourth at Taunton and lost out by a short head in a recent tactical race. No surprise if she features.
  3. Ya Know Yaseff (IRE): Made a clear second on the latest hurdling start at Fakenham. Claims if judged on that form. Had wind surgery in April.
  4. Racing Spirit: Kept on well for second at Southwell after a layoff. Good each-way claims if in similar form. Handles good to soft ground.
  5. Stripe Of Honour (IRE): Shock win over 2m4f at this course (good ground) and ran better than the finishing position suggests at Southwell. Recent flop raises concerns. Forecast rain is likely a negative.
  6. Twilight Girl (IRE): Successful in points this year. Not suited by the pace in a recent hurdling return but expected to be better suited by today’s trip. Versatile regarding ground.
  7. Wildfire Warrior (IRE): Unplaced in all six chasing starts. Has slipped to a tempting hurdle mark and might be aided by first-time blinkers. Fine on good and soft ground.
  8. Fantomas (FR): Fourth at Southwell over 3m2f in February but hasn’t been performing at his best this year. Cheekpieces added for recent runs. Needs to up his game.
  9. Classic Concorde (IRE): 4-8 in points since joining the current stable. Ran poorly over fences last month, but the current hurdle mark is workable if the cheekpieces improve his performance. Versatile regarding ground.
  10. Trickalight (IRE): Placed in a maiden here in the summer but disappointing since. Difficult to rely upon.
  11. King Otis (IRE): Ex-Irish maiden who hasn’t shown much form over hurdles or fences for the new stable. First-time cheekpieces might help, but not an obvious answer. Form on good and soft ground.
  12. Kayf Baha: Well-beaten on handicap hurdle debut and pulled up on chasing debut. Unexposed, but others have more obvious claims. 5lb wrong.

Based on this analysis, the best pick based on ratings and comments would be Karavomylos (IRE). With improved form in handicaps and a recent victory by a narrow margin, Karavomylos is likely to be a strong contender. The first-time tongue-tie and his ability to handle different ground conditions further enhance his chances.

5.25 Worcester (12 runners)
Radio Wyvern – Where Worcester Comes First Handicap Hurdle (Div 2)

Based on the ratings provided, here’s the ranking of the runners from highest to lowest:

  1. Hollow Ron (IRE) – 353.8
  2. Jack The Farmer – 352.9
  3. Sheila Nash (IRE) – 350.8
  4. Walk In The Storm (IRE) – 333.2
  5. Top Man (IRE) – 324.8
  6. Gastara – 309.3
  7. Doors Breaker (FR) – 308.3
  8. Robbie Dazzler – 303.8
  9. Barnards Green (IRE) – 282.8
  10. Begoodtoyourself (IRE) – 232.9
  11. Kimberley Eve – 221.8
  12. Ulysses (GER) – 218.0

Let’s assess the comments for each runner:

  1. Hollow Ron (IRE): Suited by the step up to 2m7f and battled well to open account at Uttoxeter. Could have more to offer over this trip. Respected.
  2. Jack The Farmer: 0-14 over hurdles but placed in five consecutive starts for the new stable. Form of the clear second at Uttoxeter was boosted by the winner’s subsequent victory. Effective on good/good to soft ground. Good chance.
  3. Sheila Nash (IRE): Dual C&D winner last summer but ran poorly on stable debut after a break. Takes a leap of faith to support her. Raced mainly on good ground, but has placed on soft.
  4. Walk In The Storm (IRE): Creditable second on handicap debut at Ffos Las and now 2lb lower. Disappointing efforts in the last two races. Cheekpieces added last time. Has a point to prove.
  5. Top Man (IRE): Low-key return from a long absence, but entitled to have needed the run. 2lb below last winning mark. Versatile regarding ground. Possible contender if old ability remains.
  6. Gastara: Ran poorly in a chase two months ago but well handicapped based on last year’s form. Traveled well at Chepstow after a layoff. Brian Hughes is an interesting booking. Placed on good and heavy ground. Not ruled out.
  7. Doors Breaker (FR): Dug deep to open account at Doncaster and has been placed over 3m. Inconsistent form and disappointing in recent starts.
  8. Robbie Dazzler: Placed three times off slightly higher marks last summer/autumn. Respectable fourth at Southwell last month. Can cope if the ground ends up soft. Considered each-way.
  9. Barnards Green (IRE): Placed in bumpers but well beaten in all five hurdling starts. Wind surgery and first-time tongue-tie needed to make a difference.
  10. Begoodtoyourself (IRE): Belatedly off the mark over fences but out of form in that sphere this season. Not sure to be suited by the move back up in trip for hurdling return.
  11. Kimberley Eve: Bettered her stable debut when third at Southwell. Needs another step forward to win from 2lb out of the weights. Unexposed over this trip.
  12. Ulysses (GER): Didn’t run badly when fifth from out of the weights. Effectively 7lb lower today, but it’s been nearly two years since his last win. Overall profile is unappealing.

Based on this analysis, the best pick based on ratings and comments would be Hollow Ron (IRE). With a strong performance last time out and the potential for more over this trip, Hollow Ron is a respected contender. Jack The Farmer also has a good chance based on consistent placings and recent form, while Gastara is an interesting option with well-handicapped form and an experienced jockey.

  19. Scorsese (IRE) – 53.2

  1. Minella Mate (IRE): Made it fourth-time lucky in bumpers and previous third was over this distance. Should make a hurdler. Strong contender.
  2. Scott Lang (IRE): 1m5f Flat winner. Two thirds over hurdles. Needs to find more to win, but has each-way claims.
  3. Onlyamatteroftime (IRE): Awarded a Punchestown bumper in the stewards’ room. Recorded an eyecatching RPR of 123. Considered.
  4. Skradin (IRE): Narrowly beaten when odds-on for a maiden hurdle and fourth of 15 on final run. Official mark of 104 hints at limitations, but has each-way claims.

  6. Clifftop: Three-time Flat winner, but well beaten in last outing. Vulnerable back in a maiden.

  12. Yara Greyjoy (IRE): Modest form in points. Fifth in a bumper, but pulled up in a maiden. Uncertain.
  13. Late Vocation (IRE): Finished midfield in a maiden hurdle. Not a bad start, but has room for improvement.
  14. Georgiabell (IRE): Pulled up in first maiden hurdle and tailed off in the second. Little to support.
  15. Onehellofagetaway (IRE): Showed more in second bumper, but plenty to improve upon. New yard.
  16. Charlie Bawnie (IRE): Tailed off in two maidens on different ground. Difficult to make a case.
  17. He Might Be Lucky (IRE): Beaten in only point-to-point. Watch only on rules debut.
  18. Maple Meadow (IRE): Limited information available. Fourth foal. Could have potential.
  19. Scorsese (IRE): Limited information available. Showed spirit to win a point. Could be interesting if given a run.

Based on this analysis, the best pick based on ratings and comments would be Minella Mate (IRE). With a previous win in bumpers and a third-place finish over this distance, Minella Mate has shown potential and should be well suited to hurdling. Scott Lang (IRE) and Onlyamatteroftime (IRE) also have respectable chances based on their performances and ratings.

  1. Edwina Sheeran (IRE): Front-running tactics with a good record since the switch. Recent success over C&D on good ground. Could improve further with another easy lead.
  2. Blue Antares (IRE): Modest fourth in the last race. First-time headgear and extra yardage may lead to improvement.
  3. Alex The Great (IRE): Improved in the previous race over 1m4f at Lingfield. Likely to take another step forward. Clear possibilities.
  4. Churchella (IRE): Second at Leicester over 1m2f, splitting subsequent winners. Recent outing may have had issues. Still interesting based on that effort.
  5. Future Times (FR): Comparatively exposed with no wins. Best handicap effort was a second-place finish at Hamilton over 1m1f. Chance of winning depends on response to new headgear and trip.
  6. Texas Boy (IRE): 0-6 since joining the current yard. Encouraging effort over 1m2f but blew the start in the latest race over 1m6f. Addition of visor needs to help.
  7. Deshi Girl (USA): Unimpressive record in UAE. Held in a couple of middle-distance handicaps at Lingfield behind Alex The Great. Something to prove.
  8. Rajawail: 0-5 so far. Showed some improvement in the previous race at Beverley but finished sixth. Needs to take another step forward.

Based on this analysis, the best pick based on ratings and comments would be Edwina Sheeran (IRE). Let’s assess the comments for each runner:

  1. Mrs Trump (IRE): Mixed results for the new yard, but ran well over 5f at Beverley in the last race. Shaping as if the return to 6f will suit. Good chance off the same mark if she builds on that effort.
  2. Fortuitous Star (IRE): Consistent maiden with solid form figures in handicaps. Finished third over 7f at Newcastle on seasonal debut. Has a solid chance back over 6f off the same mark.
  3. Made Of Lir: Only previous winner in the field. Record of 3-22 indicates she’s exposed. Recent win came in a 0-50 classified event over C&D. Did not perform well in a Thirsk handicap last week.
  4. Glendown (IRE): 0-9 record. Showed promise with a narrow defeat over 6f at Redcar. Below par back at 5f but the return to 6f may be ideal. Remains of interest at this level.
  5. Aurora Glory (IRE): 0-9 record. Good efforts at this course (second) and Redcar (close third) over 6f in the last two races. Ties in with Glendown and Bryce. Has a fighting chance off the same mark.
  6. Bryce (IRE): 0-10 record. Showed positive signs in three sprint handicaps last month, including a close sixth at Doncaster. Ties in with Glendown and Aurora Glory on a penultimate effort. Possibilities if he responds well to first-time headgear.
  7. Spurn Point (IRE): 0-6 record. Best efforts include a third-place finish in an AW classified race last December and eighth in a Redcar handicap last month. Requires more improvement to get off the mark.
  8. The Camacho Kid (IRE): 0-7 record. Holds weak claims on form and needs significant improvement.

Based on this analysis, the best pick based on ratings and comments would be Mrs Trump (IRE). Despite her 0-8 record, she ran well over 5f at Beverley in the last race and should benefit from the return to 6f. With a good chance off the same mark, provided she builds on that effort, Mrs Trump is the top choice in this race.
