Johnny Blue represents the powerful Mullins-Townend combo, and though he was below par last time, he’s capable of bouncing back. Folly Beach has the highest Timeform rating but her form has been patchy; still, she’s worth a look for each-way players. Miss Mini Bee showed improvement last time but needs to prove that wasn’t a one-off.

Diamboy Des Carres could be the one the market’s overlooked. He was pulled up after a long layoff, but with a hood applied and expected to race prominently, he might surprise if settling better.

Verdict: Lehaunstown looks the one to beat, but Johnny Blue and Folly Beach should be in the mix. Diamboy Des Carres is an interesting outsider who could outrun his odds.
