HorseRaceBase is entering a new era, with major developments that will enhance how members use the site. After years of feedback and continuous improvement, the next stage of HRB is taking shape with the launch of HorseRaceBase Focus – a brand-new area designed to make research quicker, smoother, and more user-friendly.
What’s Changing?
The existing, classic HRB site remains exactly as it is. For long-term members who have built systems and workflows on the current tools, nothing is being taken away. Updates and improvements will continue on the classic site as usual.
Alongside this, HorseRaceBase Focus is being developed as a standalone area. This is designed to offer a cleaner, faster, and more modern experience, particularly for those who may have found the full site overwhelming or difficult to navigate. It will eventually include streamlined tools, deeper insights, and faster ways to work through races without endless page loading.
Introducing RapidView
The first feature in Focus is RapidView. It’s built from the ground up and designed to handle large amounts of data quickly. Without needing to reload the page, you can move between races and instantly see key stats. The initial version of RapidView focuses on winning strike rates, applying deep analysis in certain areas, with plans to expand this over time.
For now, RapidView has preset rules to avoid clutter from unreliable data – horse stats need at least three runs, and other stats require at least five. Live updates, such as going changes and jockey switches, are not yet active but are on the roadmap.
What Does This Mean for Members?
- Classic HRB stays the same – no disruption to the tools you rely on.
- Focus offers a new way to work – faster, modern, and easier to use.
- Both areas will grow – more tools, better insights, and continual development.
Feedback will be key. As RapidView rolls out and the Focus area grows, users are encouraged to report bugs, suggest improvements, and help shape what comes next.
Looking Ahead
This is just the start. Like the original launch of System Builder all those years ago, Focus has the potential to add real value for members who want quicker access to key data without losing the depth HRB is known for. Long-term members will continue to benefit from the loyalty promise – no extra costs, no hidden charges, and lifetime access to all new tools.
With plenty more in the pipeline, these are exciting times for HRB and its members.
