Achieved a four-timer last season including over C&D. Needed the run at Tipperary on return after a six-month break. Likely to come forward for that, and Slattery won this race in 2023. Handles good ground and is tactically versatile, though may need to ration early speed better than at Tipperary.

MASOUN (TFR 96, Draw 6, Trainer: Joseph O’Brien)
Dual winner in 2024 and shaped as if needing the run on reappearance. Useful at best and is on a fair mark if back near that level. Tends to settle midfield, which should suit in this scenario.
