Race Conditions & Pace/Draw Angles
This is a sharp 5f sprint for 3-year-olds rated up to 90. The pace is forecast to be strong, with several habitual front-runners (notably Beauty Queen, Sarahmae, and Red Evolution) likely to press early. Despite the expected early burn-up, hold-up horses have not been favoured historically at this track and trip, and the setup may still suit those racing just behind the speed.
Draw bias is officially neutral, though middle-to-low numbers often get first run on this straight track.

Strongest Contenders
SARAHMAE (IRE) (TFR 97) – Comes here just 10 days after a strong-closing fourth in a hot 20-runner handicap at Naas. Progressive filly with tactical pace and solid turf form at this trip. Returns quickly for Denis Hogan and may not be finished improving yet. Rating: 8.5/10
JORGE ALVARES (IRE) (TFR 95) – Narrowly beaten by Temperance at Naas last time having previously won well at Dundalk. Will be suited by a strong pace and has been visually strong in his efforts over 5–6f. Blinkers remain on. Lyons yard is flying. Rating: 8/10
TROPICAL RETREAT (IRE) (TFR 90p) – Lightly raced filly from a shrewd yard, having only her third career start. Won a Dundalk maiden over 5f on her second start, travelling strongly and asserting late. Can improve now switched to turf, and Thomas Mullins’ single runners at flat meetings have yielded a notable profit. Rating: 7.5/10

Main Dangers
BOBBI ROSA (TFR 92) – Broke her maiden last time with ease at Tipperary and has a solid profile at the minimum trip. Needs to back that up in a deeper contest now, but she’s got a likeable way of going. Rating: 7/10
BEAUTY QUEEN (IRE) (TFR 96) – Has held her form well across Ireland and the UK, though may be better on the AW. Dropping from Listed class to a handicap here, and the pace scenario suits. Best judged on her earlier Dundalk third. Rating: 7/10
LIKEDBYMIKE (IRE) (TFR 96) – Course and distance winner and a strong type. Latest run was poor, but prior Cork effort behind Bodhi Bear was better. Could bounce back on this track but needs to settle and get cover early. Rating: 6.5/10

Interesting Outsiders / Profiles to Monitor
RED EVOLUTION (IRE) (TFR 92) – Had some strong runs on the AW, including a convincing maiden win in January, but was soundly beaten at Lingfield last time and may find this test a bit sharp under penalty. Rating: 6/10
DARK ACE (IRE) (TFR 93) – AW performer with early pace but failed to settle in the AW Championships. If able to get a clear lead and settle, could nick a place, but turf record is weak. Rating: 5.5/10
LETHIMFLY (IRE) (TFR 93) – Returns from 228 days off and was gelded since. Well below form in a Listed race when last seen and may need this outing. Look for market signals. Rating: 5/10

Trainer Trends & Race Notes
Denis Hogan (Sarahmae) has his team in fair form and has placed this filly smartly.
Ger Lyons (Jorge Alvares) has a red-hot strike rate with improving handicappers, particularly when teaming up with Colin Keane.
Thomas Mullins has a €71.50 profit-to-£1 level stake with his sole runners at flat meetings.
Watch the market closely for Tropical Retreat (off 97 days) and Lethimfly (off 228 days). Support would be telling.

Final Notes
This is a lively 3yo sprint handicap with pace pressure across the field. Sarahmae is a filly in top form who holds her position well and looks well treated off her current mark. Jorge Alvares is a solid benchmark and will be suited by the race shape. Tropical Retreat is the unknown quantity with potential upside, while Beauty Queen and Bobbi Rosa bring consistent recent form. Market moves for layoff types (Lethimfly, Tropical Retreat) will be worth watching, and in-form sprinters returning quickly (Sarahmae especially) could prove hard to peg back.
