Pace & Tactical Setup:
With just four runners, this contest is forecast to be uncontested in pace, and Pottersjetamay is expected to get an easy lead. That hands him a major tactical advantage, especially around Fakenham where tight turns and sharp fences suit prominent racers.

Contenders & Form Insights:
Pottersjetamay (TFR 91p) – Lightly raced over fences, and though only mid-pack at Warwick, that was his chase debut and he’s bred for the job. Showed plenty when second over hurdles last time and has the run style (confirmed front-runner), form, and profile to dominate this small field. Tongue tie retained. Trainer/jockey combo doing well with these types. Leading chance.
Getaway Jewel (TFR 101) – The 11yo was fourth on return from a break at Market Rasen. Typically held up, so may be at a disadvantage with no pace to run at. However, has won off higher marks in the past and entitled to come on for that run. Brian Hughes rides, but sharp track and likely crawl might not suit his run style.
Extraordinary Man (TFR 100?) – Patchy form and generally below this level’s standard. Was tailed off at Fontwell last time (lost a shoe) and isn’t proven over the bare 2m. Has had breathing ops and wears usual cheekpieces, but others have more tactical speed and recent form. Vulnerable.
Honneur de Sivola (TFR 94) – Has shown bits of form over fences but is inconsistent. Below par on last few runs and returns from 310 days off, though has gone well fresh before. Needs a pace collapse, which is unlikely here.

Tactical Risk Summary:
Best placed tactically: Pottersjetamay (solo on the lead)
At tactical risk: Getaway Jewel and Extraordinary Man (both held up), Honneur de Sivola (can race close but inconsistent, long layoff)
—
Private Tissue Estimate:
Pottersjetamay – 6/4
Getaway Jewel – 11/4
Honneur de Sivola – 9/2
Extraordinary Man – 5/1
No each-way angle in a four-runner race. Market may be sensitive to late support due to the small field.
—
Summary:
A small field with little depth. Pottersjetamay looks set to control things from the front and could take advantage of the lack of competition for the lead. Getaway Jewel has the form to challenge but may be undone by how the race is run. Honneur de Sivola and Extraordinary Man don’t arrive with compelling profiles and would need others to underperform. Tactics look likely to be decisive – and Pottersjetamay may have the race run to suit perfectly.
