1. Contenders, Dangers, Outsiders, and Notable Profiles

CIRCE (Pat Dobbs / Richard Hannon)
🔹 Timeform Adjusted Rating: 99
Progressive filly with wins at Newmarket and Windsor already this spring. Latest fifth at Epsom reads better than result—travelled well in a messy race, did too much early. Quick turnaround (14 days), still in good heart. The strong pace here looks ideal. Track and trip proven. Profile fits well with recent winners (3–4yo, OR 87–91). Proven and Progressive.

REBEL PATH (Olivia Haines / Stuart Williams)
🔹 Adjusted Rating: 96
Front-runner who won well at Newmarket two starts back. Excuses last time (raced aggressively). Return to a straight track a plus. Has scope to rate higher based on peak efforts. Does carry a Timeform ‘p’ indicating possible improvement. Proven and still Progressive.

BUCCABAY (Hector Crouch / Stuart Williams)
🔹 Adjusted Rating: 97
Sprinter with mixed form—won well at Windsor but failed to follow up when dropped away late at Doncaster in a steadily-run race. That run may be forgivable. Return to a strongly-run race could suit better. Yard has won this race before (Gellhorn, 2021). Proven but Profile Mixed.

SUDDEN FLIGHT (Finley Marsh / Richard Hughes)
🔹 Adjusted Rating: 89
Lightly raced 3yo, shaped well in novice/maiden events. Handicap debut at York saw him posted wide and never landing a blow. That effort is worth upgrading slightly. Unexposed at the trip; likely to come on for experience. Promising but raw.

JUBILEE WALK (Fred Daly / James Ferguson)
🔹 Adjusted Rating: 91+
Has shaped as if amiss the last twice but was progressive prior to that, winning well at York. Gelded and off 142 days. Watch the market closely—has had wind ops and gelding op since. Capable off this mark if right, but questions linger. Proven but Needs Monitoring.

MONSIEUR BEAULIEU (Jack Callan / Nick Littmoden)
🔹 Adjusted Rating: 90+
Reliable performer in AW handicaps. Best efforts this year on synthetic surfaces. Turf profile is weaker and the switch back to grass on this quicker surface is a concern. Still, is fit and consistent. Exposed but fit.

AN OUTLAW’S GRACE (Cieren Fallon / Richard Hannon)
🔹 Adjusted Rating: 79+
Off 71 days. Shaped as if needing the run at Newbury. Lightly raced type with fair form as a 2yo including a G2 run. Might strip fitter now, but overall profile looks patchy and his 3yo campaign has yet to spark. Promising at 2, regressive so far at 3.

TATTIE BOGLE (Benoit de la Sayette / Charlie Johnston)
🔹 Adjusted Rating: 94
Front-runner. Outran odds at Chester latest and ran well behind a well-handicapped winner. Not totally convincing on the July course and vulnerable to anything coming off a strong pace. That said, he is fit and retains form. Exposed but competitive.

3. Each-Way Angles (8 runners)

The race shape (strong pace, exposed types) invites consideration of Sudden Flight and Rebel Path as each-way value against the filly Circe. Monsieur Beaulieu could sneak into the frame if there’s a strong collapse late.

Summary

CIRCE sets the standard with her recent win pattern and is expected to relish a strong pace setup. She’s a proven winner on this course, and her effort at Epsom is better than the bare result. Rebel Path looks a touch underestimated on his Newmarket win and could go well again with a more controlled ride. Watch the market closely for Jubilee Walk (gelded and off a break) and Sudden Flight, who may be better than he showed at York.

Smart Play – Pro Punter View

Win Bet: CIRCE – Comes here fit, progressive, tactically suited, and Timeform top-rated. Plenty in her favour.

Each-Way Saver: REBEL PATH – Proven over course and distance, well-handicapped still, strong pace and straight track ideal. Should run his race.

Keep an eye on late market signals, especially for runners off layoffs (Jubilee Walk) and 3yo improvers (Sudden Flight).
