Going: Good | Pace Forecast: Strong
This 0-105 handicap hurdle features 15 declared runners competing over 2m4f. The pace projection indicates a strong early tempo, which should favour patiently ridden types. Draw is of minimal significance over hurdles at Worcester, but those able to settle off the pace and quicken late may find conditions in their favour given the projected gallop.

Key Contenders
Robber’s Bridge (Adjusted TFR 113)
A dual winner at Worcester and Market Rasen last season, he wasn’t suited by a falsely-run race last time out when second at Market Rasen. He has run well off breaks before and looks to benefit from the expected strong gallop. Profile fits the track and trip well. A strong stayer with a consistent record under these conditions.
Just Chasing May (TFR 111)
A course winner who shaped well in better contests last term. His final start was below par but came after a busy campaign and a break of 142 days now could help. Handles testing ground and stays further, but the strong pace here may put pressure on his positioning early. Trainer Ben Pauling has a strong strike rate at Worcester (21%).
Ikigai Star (TFR 109)
Benefitted from a tactical advantage when winning a four-runner race at Huntingdon. Raised 4lb for that, and the merit of the form is debatable given the setup. Still unexposed, but will find this more competitive and is unlikely to get such a soft lead here.
My Bobby’s Lass (TFR 109)
Won readily at Worcester last time when suited by a strong pace. She was a big-priced winner and traded at twice her BSP in running, suggesting the race unfolded ideally. Has been inconsistent but clearly handles the course and will again be suited by the setup.
Theatre of Flight (TFR 104)
Lightly raced 5yo with scope. Improved on his hurdling debut when runner-up at Huntingdon. Half-brother to useful stayers, and this stiffer test could bring further progress. Needs to prove himself in handicaps but represents a yard capable of improvement at this level.

Main Dangers & Outsiders to Note
Barely Famous (TFR 107+)
Interesting profile switching from points where she has run well. Previously struggled under Rules but a change of yard and booking of Jonathan Burke catches the eye. Market support would be significant.
Miss Kassiopi (TFR 111)
Runner-up in a big field at Stratford earlier this year but followed up with a disappointing sixth. Breathing op noted, so better might be to come. Faces pace pressure, but if settling better, could sneak a place.
Mactavish (TFR 110)
CD winner. Stable has a strong one-runner stat (+£29 to £1) and he’s gone well fresh. However, recent form suggests he needs to bounce back. Not dismissed on trends and profile, though a watching brief might be best.

Summary
This looks a competitive low-grade handicap with pace likely to collapse late. Robber’s Bridge has an ideal profile and looks well suited to these conditions if building on last run. Just Chasing May is attractively weighted and has good form in the book, while Barely Famous offers interest if attracting support on stable switch.
