Pace & Draw Angles:
The forecast pace is even, and there is a draw bias against high numbers, which may compromise those drawn 7 and higher like Blue For You, Flight Plan, and La Trinidad. The bias enhances the chances of those drawn lower, particularly Remmooz (stall 3) and Sisyphean (stall 2), especially if they race prominently.

Strongest Contenders:
REMMOOZ (112p) – Still unexposed with just three runs. Improved again when fourth in the Jersey Stakes, a Group 3, and now makes his handicap debut from a workable mark of 98. Drawn in stall 3, well placed. Owen Burrows has an excellent record with handicap debutants.
SISYPHEAN (114) – Progressive profile. Just behind Old Cock last time over C&D and that form looks solid. Drawn better here (stall 2 vs 6) and can reverse form on revised terms. Could control or sit handy in an even-run race, ideal scenario.
OLD COCK (112) – Consistent, won here in May from Sisyphean, and will be on the speed again. Draw is okay, though he may find it harder to dominate today. Still a big danger.
Main Dangers:
BLUE FOR YOU (110) – Winner of this race in 2024 and 2023. York specialist and his last run was encouraging, shaping well from off the pace. Not well drawn but has a late kick if the leaders go too hard.
BOPEDRO (109) – Very solid Royal Hunt Cup third and now back in a smaller field. Will need luck in running but stays well and is handicapped to go close again.
LA TRINIDAD (113) – Also a previous winner of this race. Ran better than finishing position at Royal Ascot suggests. Track and trip suit, but wide draw is a disadvantage.
Interesting Outsider:
FLIGHT PLAN (109) – Below form last time but beat Hi Royal the time before in a good Thirsk race. Drawn widest and might be forced wide or into early effort. Needs career-best under topweight.

Summary:
A highly competitive handicap where course form, draw, and tactical speed matter. Remmooz remains full of promise, shaped well in a top race at Royal Ascot, and is primed to make a big impact on handicap debut from a low draw. Sisyphean has a strong York record, should be well positioned throughout, and is a serious threat. Old Cock is honest and in form, though slightly worse off draw-wise.
