Pace Angles:
A strong pace is forecast, with several habitual front-runners including ROGUE ENDEAVOUR, RADIANT ANGEL, and SISTERS IN THE SKY. Bath’s stiff uphill finish combined with firm ground can favour those tracking the leaders rather than tearing off too hard. Prominent runners often do best, especially in big fields with contested pace.
Draw Angles:
At Bath over this trip, low-to-middle draws are marginally preferred in big fields. However, on firm ground and given the field size, track position and early speed are of greater importance than draw.

Strongest Contenders:
BIG TIME RASCAL – Proven. Holding form well, following a win at Brighton with a solid third over C&D behind Sisters In The Sky. Well-treated on that form, tactical speed suits Bath, and races prominently. Can race freely but improving consistency.
NORDIC GLORY (IRE) – Proven. Back-to-back Wolverhampton wins in the spring, and showed good early speed. Firm ground no issue and likely to race prominently. Slight stamina concern late on if pressured early, but dangerous if allowed to travel in rhythm.
Main Dangers:
NEPTUNE LEGEND (IRE) – Inconsistent. Occasionally shapes like he retains ability and ran better than bare result at Brighton last time (hampered). Now 4 lb below last winning mark, but slow starts remain a concern.
SISTERS IN THE SKY – Proven. Recent C&D winner in similar company. Not seen to best effect latest when stumbling early at Newbury. Needs a clean break but can’t be ruled out if reproducing Bath form.
ROGUE ENDEAVOUR (IRE) – Promising. Yet to win but has hit the frame three times over sprint trips. Below form last time, but had been running consistently beforehand and suited by Bath’s pace pattern.
Interesting Outsiders:
MIDNIGHT CALL (IRE) – Unexposed. Two solid efforts since joining Tony Carroll, including third in better race last time. Handles Bath’s rise and fall, and could pounce late with a strong pace.
CALL GLORY (IRE) – Well handicapped on earlier Southwell second but recent turf form disappointing. De Sousa booked, which is noteworthy.

Keep an eye on the market for support or big drifts for runners returning from layoffs of 90+ days.
Watch out for in-form sprinters returning quickly; they can be hot.

Summary:
A typically open low-grade Bath handicap where pace pressure will be strong.
