This is a low-grade maiden with several exposed or limited types. However, two unexposed colts from the Gosden yard—Earl Of Rochester and Gamrai—stand out both on pedigree and previous form. The rest have large amounts to find and are unlikely to feature unless dramatic improvement is forthcoming.

  • Tajer: Midfield debut at this trip; entitled to improve but bare form well short of required level.
  • Potters Marmite: Ex-NH mare with moderate Flat runs. Outsider.
  • Slaney Gorge: Beaten 11 lengths on debut in Ireland. Pedigree says this trip should suit, but must step up considerably.
