5.10 Killarney – Irish Stallion Farms EBF Nursery Handicap (2yo, Class 2, 1m 30y, Good)

·

Pace Angle: Moderate-to-strong likely. Several prominent racers: Femme Beauty, Down The Glen, Extravagant, and Sara La Belle all go forward. Could lead to a solid test over this trip.
Draw Angle: Inside draws (1–5) can be beneficial over this extended mile at Killarney, especially when pace builds up wide.

Strongest Contenders

Bellamano – Progressive (RPR 83)
Rapidly improving filly with a stout pedigree and progressing race by race. Kept on strongly for second at Galway (7f) and should relish the step up to a mile. Trainer in excellent recent form and takes 7lb off. Well drawn in stall 8 with a prominent style. Nicely handicapped off 79 on that Galway effort.

Extravagant – Promising (RPR 79)
Well-bred (half to Cloth Of Stars) colt who has shaped better than the form figures suggest. Didn’t handle the Curragh last time but showed promise on debut and second start. Drawn 6, should stay the mile. Handicap debut could unlock progress. Blinkers reapplied – likely “go day” for Ballydoyle.

Invincible Will – Progressive (RPR 79)
Strong finisher on nursery debut at Galway. Settled much better and shaped like a stayer. This extra yardage looks ideal, and ground is fine. Drawn in stall 4, could stalk the pace. Still unexposed and capable of going close.

Main Dangers

Clarity Of Thought – Lightly Raced (RPR 76)
Three respectable runs in maidens including a good fifth behind Green Soul. By Mehmas out of a staying mare, so the mile looks suitable. Needs to settle better but bred to progress. Drawn ideally in 5.

Femme Beauty – Honest Sort (RPR 81)
Ghaiyyath filly who has run consistently in maidens. Looked one-paced but could benefit from cheekpieces retained. Form has been working out okay. More exposed than others but tough and should go forward from stall 7.

Sara La Belle – Potential Sleeper (RPR 72)
Forgive the Galway effort where she missed the break. Previous maiden form suggested she could pick up a race like this. Drawn wide in 9, which isn’t ideal, but retains upside on earlier figures.

Interesting Outsiders

Down The Glen – Unexposed (RPR 74)
Big prices in maidens but has shaped better than bare results. By Gleneagles out of a decent family. Will stay and now drops into a nursery from 66. Stall 2 is a positive.

The Holy Apostle – One bright run (RPR 83)
Only one promising performance from three. RPR 83 at Curragh a standout; others less inspiring. Blinkers go on, drawn stall 1. Possible place if repeating peak run.

Quinn’s Charm – Patchy (RPR 80)
One fair effort sandwiched by two very poor ones. Pedigree suggests this trip is fine, but temperament a concern. Drawn 3 and may go forward.
