Gordon Elliott has won ten of the last eleven runnings of this race and can continue that domination here with THEFLYINGKING, who was easily the best of these in bumpers and also has a point-to-point win on his record. Henry de Bromhead’s Some Song, winner of his only point-to-point, could prove the main danger.

CASHELDALE LAD has race-fitness assured after a recent Listowel win, is receiving a good chunk of weight, and is probably the most favoured of the pair at this trip, giving him plenty going for him and allowing him to really put it up to the top-weight The Yellow Clay.
