Rainbow Sign the main threat
Rainbow Sign is the obvious danger. He hinted at a return to form when third at Lingfield last time and remains competitive at this level. He knows the all-weather well and has enough tactical pace to stay involved.
The concern is the wide draw, which could force him to do more early than ideal. If he gets cover and a smooth passage, he’s capable of being right in the finish.
Others with something to prove
Ashford Hill arrives here after a Lingfield win earlier in the year but now has the widest stall and failed to build on that effort last time.
Huntly Lodge has shown small signs of improvement but remains a maiden and often finds one or two finishing stronger.
Several others in the line-up have struggled for form for some time and would need a significant turnaround.

In a race where many are unreliable, Vitalline brings the most solid all-weather credentials and looks the runner most likely to take advantage if the pace develops as expected.
