This looks a straightforward novice hurdle on paper, but the pace angle gives it a bit of tactical intrigue.
Argento Royale is the likely front runner and could get an uncontested lead. In a small field around Hereford, that always deserves respect. If he settles and jumps cleanly, he could control things for a long way.
That said, the race still revolves around Silver Hill.
He’s the clear form horse, already operating to a higher level than these, and—crucially—he’s a strong finisher stepping into a race where the pace should at least be honest. His profile suggests he’ll travel, sit off the speed, and pick them up late. At this trip, on good to soft, that’s a proven formula.
Guardami Ancora is solid but looks vulnerable again late on. He’s had chances and doesn’t quite see it out as strongly as you’d want in this company.
The rest need improvement or are unknown quantities.
Verdict
If Argento Royale gets a completely soft lead, he can make a race of it. But more often than not, class and finishing strength win these races—and that firmly points to one horse.
Silver Hill wins.
