That’s a poor place to be historically, and you’re betting on improvement rather than relying on solid, repeatable evidence.
Tribal Wisdom is interesting on pace setup alone, but his recent runs don’t scream “winner” and he’s another that needs everything to fall perfectly.
In races like this, the mistake is overcomplicating things. The top two in the ratings dominate for a reason, and when one of them is a proven course specialist with the race likely to be run to suit, that’s where you should be.
