This looks a fiercely run 6f handicap with a big field and several prominent racers engaged. Historically, this contest has rewarded tough handicappers with tactical speed, and recent renewals suggest 4/5yo horses rated 75–85 are most successful.

Leading Contenders
PRIME SIGN (IRE) – TFR 87 | Trainer: Andrew Oliver | Jockey: W.J. Lee
Comes here just 5 days after a striking win in a 27-runner Curragh handicap where she was well on top at the line. Raised 9 lb but impressed with how she travelled and picked up once the gap came. Still unexposed and dangerous if handling the quick turnaround.
NEVER SHOUT NEVER (IRE) – TFR 88 | Jockey: J.A. Powell (3)
Proved competitive off this mark at the Curragh latest when second, doing best of the closers. Often races prominently but showed tactical flexibility last time. Well handicapped if building on that.
ESCAPING THEJUNGLE (IRE) – TFR 89 | Jockey: W.M. Lordan
Returned from 7 months off in a Listed race here 12 days ago, and predictably struggled in that company. A previous easy winner off 77 and should strip fitter now back handicapping. Big pace forecast may not help her aggressive racing style, so market vibes are key.

Main Dangers
TAWAAZON (IRE) – TFR 86+ | Jockey: K.G. Kennedy (5)
Back to something like his best when fourth of 25 at the Curragh, doing well from a forward position in a race that went hard. Has a swing in weights with Prime Sign from that race. Often goes forward, so the strong pace forecast could be a challenge late on.
STAYSOUND SUSIE (IRE) – TFR 88 | Jockey: A. Browne-Souza (10)
Built solid form last season and should come forward from her reappearance at the Curragh. Dual turf winner last year. Likely to be ridden forward again and could be vulnerable late if the pace collapses.
RAPPELL (IRE) – TFR 82 | Jockey: C.T. Keane
Three-time winner last year and shaped as though the run was needed on return. Now 2 lb below his last winning mark, and connections (Flynn/Keane) are capable in these types of contests.

Interesting Outsiders & Watch List
ALTIMARA (IRE) – TFR 87 | Jockey: L.F. Roche
Big stat: Ross O’Sullivan is £113.65 in profit when sending only one runner to a flat card (this is his sole runner). Not much room to manoeuvre off 69 but the booking and profile offer intrigue. Will be held up, which suits the likely race shape.
IMPROVE YOUR MOVE (IRE) – TFR 80 | Days off: 197
Lightly raced and hard to weigh up. May need the run and possibly looking to build experience, but pedigree offers scope and any support would be notable.
SKILLMAN AVE (IRE) – TFR 87 | Days off: 157
‘Horse for course’ tag applied. Not at best last time but caught the eye at Dundalk two starts back. Back over 6f could help, and Cromwell has targeted similar races with success.

Trends & Trainer Notes
Last 5 winners were aged 4–5 and rated between 75–85.
David Marnane (trainer of Jered Maddox and Improve Your Move) and Paul Flynn (Rappell) have form targeting this sort of contest.
Ross O’Sullivan (Altimara) has a noteworthy single-runner profit trend on the flat.

Summary & Each-Way Angle
Prime Sign is the one to beat based on her clearcut Curragh win and still has upside. Never Shout Never and Escaping TheJungle are strong dangers with ratings and recent form to match. Tawaazon and Staysound Susie both hold place claims but could be compromised by the fierce pace. Of the rest, Altimara and Rappell appeal most as each-way plays in a field of 13.
15:10 Naas – TRM Kurasyn Handicap (3yo+, 5f 205y, €7,800, Good to Firm in places)13 declared | Pace Forecast: Very Strong
