This looks a competitive but fairly ordinary Class 4 sprint, with several runners closely matched around the low-80s level and no obvious standout on the figures.

Paradise Walk brings the most progressive profile. She has improved since blinkers were applied, winning a Windsor maiden before following up in a 5f handicap at Nottingham. That latest success was solid rather than spectacular, but she remains lightly raced and a 4lb rise should not prevent another bold showing. She races prominently, handles a straight track and looks the most reliable option in a field containing several exposed rivals.

Lady Roxby has the strongest back form. Her second in a valuable Newmarket handicap last autumn would make her very competitive here, and she was not disgraced when seventh in a Class 2 at York on her latest start. She is now down to a workable mark of 80, but her recent form has lacked the consistency of her best efforts and the return to 5f may leave her dependent on a strong pace.

Dandy Magic arrives after three consecutive fourth-place finishes over 6f. She has been running consistently without suggesting that she is well ahead of her mark, and the return to the minimum trip places more emphasis on speed. First-time cheekpieces may help, but her current odds look short enough for a filly who still needs to improve.

Killavia has become well treated compared with her juvenile peak and Oisin Murphy is an eye-catching booking. She has not shown her best in two runs this season, however, and any support for her relies on the expectation of a revival rather than strong recent evidence.

Toolatetonegotiate is more interesting than her latest finishing position suggests. She won well over 5½f at Bath before struggling over 6f in stronger company at Windsor. The return to 5f should suit, and the 7lb claim reduces her burden, although she may now be close to the limit of her current mark.

Lara Antipova remains lightly raced, but she showed no obvious improvement on her handicap debut and must prove that the drop to 5f will bring out more. Desert Treasure is another with scope on her early form, though two disappointing handicap runs this season make her difficult to support with confidence.

Carefree Dream is consistent but appears fairly treated, while Fantasy Obsessor needs a substantial revival despite the first-time visor.

The pace should be honest without being extreme. Paradise Walk, Killavia and Toolatetonegotiate can all race close to the speed, which may make it difficult for a habitual hold-up performer such as Lady Roxby if the leaders are not pressured early.

Paradise Walk is the safest option. She has the strongest combination of current form, tactical speed and remaining potential, although this is unlikely to require much more than a low-80s performance.
